Hello there

I'm a health writer and service journalist with over 10 years of experience creating high-performing print and digital content. My work has been featured by Forbes, America's Test Kitchen, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston Magazine, Eater, and more. I sometimes dabble in illustration as well, for fun—and some of that work has been published, too—but I consider myself a writer first and foremost.

I was born in New Orleans, LA and earned my master's degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education, where my curriculum was a combination of both public health and education classes. (Loved grad school.) I also did some pretty amazing study abroads with New York University, including learning about food culture and food policy in France and Italy. All of which is to say I've studied health from a variety of angles. I enjoy finding new topics to explore, coming up with a different framework for something, and occasionally challenging existing health beliefs.
